Moving your store data to Magento 2
Migrating a live store is the part that keeps owners up at night, because the data is the business. Your products, your customers, the orders you have built up over years. We move all of it into Magento 2 and check the numbers afterwards, so nothing quietly goes missing in the process.

The data is the part you cannot afford to get wrong
A new theme can be redone. A broken page can be fixed the next day. But if a customer's order history disappears in a migration, or a batch of products lands without their images and prices, you find out the worst way, from a customer who cannot reorder or a checkout that throws an error.
That is why people are nervous about doing this themselves or handing it to whoever is cheapest. Payment configurations, customer accounts and years of orders are not things you want to discover were copied wrong after you have gone live. The fear is reasonable. The way to deal with it is to treat the data carefully and prove it landed intact, rather than hope it did.
We map everything first, then move it
Before anything is copied, we go through your store and write down what is actually in it. Which product types you use, how your categories are arranged, what data sits on each product, which extensions touch the data. Magento stores its data differently from where it is now, so this mapping is what stops things from arriving in the wrong place.
Then we move it into a test version of your new store while your current store keeps running. Products of every type, simple, configurable, bundled, grouped and virtual, with their images, video, content, prices, categories and inventory. Customer accounts and full order history. Your SEO and URL data, using the Magento 2 data migration tool where you are coming from Magento, and our own scripts where you are coming from somewhere else. When it is done, we count what is in the new store against the old one so you can see the numbers match.

How do I know nothing was lost?
You do not have to take our word for it. Once everything is moved, we count your products, customers and orders against your old store and show you that the numbers line up. If anything is short, we find out before you go live, not after.
Will my store be down during the migration?
No. We build and load the data into a test version of your new store while your current store keeps selling. The switch happens only once everything has been checked.
What about my custom features and extensions?
Extension code does not carry straight across, because Magento 2 is built differently. We go through what you actually use, find the Magento 2 version where one exists, and rebuild the rest so the functionality stays the same.
Can you keep my SEO and URLs?
Yes. We migrate your URL structure and SEO data so your pages keep their addresses and the rankings tied to them. Coming from Magento we use the Magento 2 data migration tool for this, and from other platforms we do it with our own scripts.
Can you keep my current theme?
If you do not want the look to change, we migrate or rebuild your theme and templates with the same functionality. If you would rather start fresh, we can build a responsive theme from scratch.
